About Hawaii Real

​I’ve always loved learning from people who were eager to share their knowledge and wisdom with the world. I’ve grown to admire the unique dance between vulnerability and connection when you’re opening up about an experience that completely changed the trajectory of your life. We know that oftentimes, it came at the price of deep discomfort of adversity. Yet oftentimes- especially if we’ve leaned into it- we also know that these lessons hold a potency powerful enough to change the way we live our lives moving forward. Hearing about those moments are exactly what I became fascinated with and although I knew next to nothing about podcasting when I first started in 2019, I created Hawaii Real Podcast and it became the perfect nexus for local thought leaders to have the space to share their very own transformative moments with listeners. It’s a refreshing, human look into the experiences that shape us and how we can apply those lessons right here at home in Hawaii. 

Over time, I also grew to become incredibly passionate about video production and the heightened possibilities around sharing someone’s story through high-quality video work. It encouraged me to challenge my limits and step into the unknown as far as realizing what was possible to create for people. Soon enough, projects began to flow in and I gained not only experience, but a visceral confirmation that expanding the company to include videography services was a clear next step. We launched Hawaii Real Studios in 2022 and its rebrand serves as the impetus for its steady growth and expansion moving forward.

My passion still remains the same, and is to continue learning from people who are eager to share their wisdom and their experiences with the world. Hawaii Real Studios is now equipped to be able to create and share those moments in a multitude of ways, honoring that dance between vulnerability and connection and only more deeply capturing those moments that change our lives.
